Under Windows XP & Server 2003, minimize all running applications and press F1. The Help & Support Center window will appear. HSC is an attempt at consolidating the help and support resources of different providers (ISVs, OEMs, Microsoft etc), into a single place in Windows. The help can come from a variety of sources: HTML Help, HTML files, PDF, PostScript etc. HCS can retrieve help from local help files or from remote locations. I believe a version of HSC first appeared in WinME. HSC is part of Windows and can not be installed on other Operating Systems.
