0

As part of the RADAR trial, a central pathology review will be conducted by Professor Brett Delahunt in Wellington, New Zealand. The purpose of this review is: a. To standardise the process involved in the allocation of Gleason Grade (pattern) and score and to determine the magnitude of inter-observer variation between local and central pathologist. b. To quantify the extent of involvement of the prostatic biopsies Following randomisation, the Investigator should arrange for 1 H + E stained and 3 unstained sections of each positive core biopsy to be forwarded to Wellington, New Zealand together with a copy of the local pathology report (to allow the biopsy site of each core to be determined). Once the review has been performed, slides will be returned to the local pathologist. Further information regarding the Histopathology Review can be obtained from Judy Murray in New Zealand.
