What is Ios surface like?
1. Ios surface is hot and volcanic. The surface of Io actually moves because of all the explosions from the volcanoes. The volcanoes make sonic reactions after the explosionsthen the surface moves just like waves in the ocean. The surface is very hot, but not as hot as the sun. Unlike any other large bodies in the solar system Ios surface has very little craters on its surface. The surface of Io is also the very yougest surface in they whole solar system. 2. There are many volcanoes on Io. Some are larger than others, one volcanoe in particular was captured on inphotograph by the Voyager I. At first the Voyager I didn’t know what in the world they saw on Io they didn’t know what they captured on photograph until they studied the picture thouroughly and discovered they captured a volcanoe on Io erupting.Their have been many volcanoes captured by the spacecrafts Voyager and Galileobetween the last 17 years and their have been many newly discovered volcanoes and many more may be discovere
