What is making my computer run slow?
There are several factors to consider when my computer runs slower than usual and programs are freezing or crashing without obvious cause. I need to know what the problem is and how to make my computer run faster again. The central processing unit (CPU) stores all the initial product and set-up information, which has been input to the computer by the manufacturer and includes the software programs and the specifications etc. for the hardware attached to the computer when it is first issued. At this point in time the computer will run at its maximum performance level. The more we add to or change the information in the CPU, the larger the registry grows, the more unmanageable the information becomes and the less clean or usable space is available. Software programs in particular, which are normally on a daily automatic update setting, continually make changes in the registry using up more space and not always making allowance for previous changes, which we may have made to the program o
