What is measured in centilitres?
Centilitre is a unit of volume. Volume is the amount of space which something occupies. So any volume can be measured in units of centilitres. eg the volume of an empty box or a room, or the amount of liquid (milk, water, cooking oil etc) or even air in a bottle. Your problem might be that cl is not a very common unit for measuring volume. The millilitre (ml), cubic centimetre (cc), and litre (l) are more common. Note: 1 millilitre (ml) is the actually the same same 1 cubic centimetre (cc). 1 cl is the same as 10 ml or 10 cc. 1 litre = 100 cl = 1000 ml = 1000 cc. So if a can of fizzy drink is marked “contains 330 ml” this is the same as 33 cl. Or if a carton of milk contains 0.5 l, this is the same as 500 ml or 50 cl. So if you find things measured in “ml” or “cc” or “l” then they could be measured in “cl” instead. Also, some things might be measured in “imperial units” instead of “metric units” eg fluid ounces (fl.oz.). These also could be measured in cl instead of fl.oz.
