The Council has been considering this legislation through several formal meetings including the Better Lives Advisory Group on the 14th Feb 2006 & 28th November 2006, and by the Council’s Cabinet on the 15th January 2007. The report and recommendations will form the basis of the Council’s consultation on the Act with stakeholders during the spring & early summer of 2007. Feedback from the consultation process will be brought back before Better Lives and Cabinet before being formally approved and implemented by the Council.
