What is my philosophy of education?

I believe first and foremost that all students, regardless of ability level are able to learn, connect their learning, and apply it to real life. It is our main duty in life as people to prepare our youngsters for their future. We must provide our students a rigorous and relevant education that is based on building relationships in order to prepare them for competitive life in the 21st Century. In addition, we must also expose our students to enriching opportunities through the music and theater arts, technology, and foreign languages as well as other electives to ensure a well-rounded education. We must also pay attention to the emotional well-being of all our students and have strategies in place to best meet their needs and help them maximize success. Learning should be challenging, appropriate, pertinent, and motivating that allows for students to think critically and be allowed to take appropriate risks in order to grow as person. Our job is to prepare our students for the future
