What is Nagware?
Nagware is software that is either fully functional or of limited function that has systems to nag you to purchase the full version to eliminate the nagging or anoyances. The annoyances can be as simple as one window that pops up each time you start the program to as much as each command having a window open. Nagware can be in a combination of the other types of software that is listed here. Sometimes software writers do not understand how bad the nagging systems thbey created are, when they are so bad that you cannot logicaly try thier software, maybe you should write them a note and ask them to give you a little slack! Nagware, also called guiltware or annoyware, is a pop-up reminder that appears with trial versions of computer programs. Many trial versions of games, programs or additional features use nagware to alert the user to pay or register after the trial period has expired. The term derives its name from its function of “nagging” the user to take a specific action.
