What is natural breathing?
Natural breathing is whole-body breathing–the way a healthy baby, young child, or animal breathes. Natural breathing involves the harmonious interplay of the lungs, diaphragm, belly, chest, back, and other parts of the human body. In natural breathing, the depth and speed of the breath is appropriate to the actual demands of the moment, as long as those demands are not being conditioned by unnecessary tensions, contractions, or restrictions in the body. During inhalation, the diaphragm moves downward massaging, either directly or indirectly, all the organs, and the energetic wave of breath moves upward through entire body, opening the belly, chest, back, and lungs. During exhalation, the diaphragm moves upward massaging the heart, and the wave of breath moves downward closing the lungs, chest, back, and belly. In human beings, natural breathing occurs mainly through the nose. This not only ensures the natural filtering, warming, and moisturizing of the air, but it also helps ensure th

Natural breathing can be defined as breathing with your entire body, the way a healthy baby, a healthy young child, or a healthy animal breathes. Natural breathing is based on the harmonious interplay of the lungs, diaphragm, belly, chest, back, and other parts of the human body. Those powerful breaths is the technique of Natural Breathing, which I learned to do in both private sessions and the Unlimited Breath workshop. When you jog, you are emotional, or deeply relaxed, your breathing changes; you are breathing more than you normally do, you are thinking less, and you are more “aware.” This is similar to the basic concepts of Natural Breathing. Natural Breathing happens when you relax and surrender. When you are relaxed and don’t do anything with your breathing, it does something for you. How Is Natural Breathing Different from Regular Breathing? Natural breathing is like cleaning up your engine’s carburetor and putting a bigger muffler on your car. The airflow increases and the car accelerates faster and runs more efficiently. What I love about Unlimited Breath is that it restores natural breathing. Taking in more oxygen enhances the metabolism in my body, energizes me and makes me feel more alive. What I learned is that at different times of my life, such a
