To protect our netmon proxy from bombarding from various portions of our network, we have implemented a scheme in which the IP address remains blocked for 2 hours, once found bombarding netmon proxy. After end of 2 hours, if it is still found bombarding, then it is again blocked for 2 hours and this continues recursively.
