Oil canning is the deformation of panel surfaces due to temperature variances and subsequent expansion/contraction. Oil canned surfaces appear dimpled or pillowy. When properly engineered and fabricated with a tested extrusion system, composite panels will remain flat with no visible Oil Canning.
