What is Red Hat Linux?
Red Hat linux was one of the first popular linux distributions available in the U.S. Several years ago they decided to become a strictly enterprise (business) only distribution. All of their configuration is oriented to business and not playing cds, movies, surfing the web, etc. It can do all those things but not as well. They offer support for a fee. They have created a free personal user distribution called fedora based on red hat but oriented towards the home user.
