What is required to do a Criminal Psychology degree at University?

My friend has recently received offers from uni to study criminal psychology, and she studies english lit, psychology and sociology. The first thing is that it is a very limited course only a few uni’s in the country do it. I would recommend looking at their websites and requirements as most courses unless a science based one or specific one don’t require anything. I know from my experience if you wish to study psychology at degree level you don’t need to take it for AS because in your first year they will teach you everything from scratch, but i would recommend doing so as if gives you an insight into the course. Sociology is not considered an academic course so unless you would like to do it as only an AS i would stay away from it as uni’s don’t lend to like non academic courses and will always go for the academic ones first and because criminal psychology is so limited within uni choices and places it will be competitive to get in as tv shows like CSI and Bones have increased the am
