What is Single Weave?
The Single Weave is what we call in Brazil, the light weave. It is a lighter version of the Double and Hybrid weaves. While it is lighter and more comfortable tham heavy weaves, it is also less durable. What is Summer Weave? MKimonos was the first company to produce Summer Weave Jiu-Jitsu gi’s. The Summer Weave is made with a non-twisted fabric, different than the other weaves. Because of that, it is extremely light, but still has strength to it. Summer Weave Gis are for training on the hottest days. What is Double Weave? The Double Weave is the strongest and most durable gi that we offer. It is heavy and can be hot to train in, however some competitors prefer if for competitions due it being difficult for you opponent to grab and manipulate. What is Palladium Weave? The Palladium Weave is an MKimonos exclusive and brand new for 2011. It maintains the texture and comfortability of Gold Weave while providing the strength and durability of a Double Weave.
