What is the 2nd steps in scientific method?
The second step in the scientific method is the development of a hypothesis which can then be tested against actual real world data to see how well it accords with that data. If it matches what is seen in real life then this is seen as evidence that the hypothesis could be correct, if real data does not accord with the hypothesis developed in the second step or stage of the scientific process / method then it shows the hypothesis developed in that step is not correct.
