What is the advantage in replaceable batteries verses the built in rechargeable batteries?
Your Parent SEEKER pagers are shipped with replaceable batteries installed. The replaceable batteries in the Parent SEEKER System provide the lowest operating cost of any system. In most church applications the cost is under $1 per year. Rechargeable batteries used in other paging systems reach a point where they will not hold a charge. This occurs somewhere around 2 years. Some systems require the church to return the pagers for the batteries to be replaced, or a proprietary rechargeable battery that is very expensive. Leaving your pagers out in a charging rack invites pager theft.
