What is the alphabet?
The English alphabet is a system of 26 characters, or letters, in which the characters are used together to form words. Each of the characters are made in the sense of what they sound like when pronounced. A bit of history about the English alphabet is that the Phoenicians’ symbol alphabet which would later take form through the Greek, then Roman, and then English alphabets. The full English alphabet is: A-B-C-D-E-F-G- H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O- P-Q-R-S-T-U-V- W-X-Y-Z P.S. (sorry about the format of the list of letters, Yahoo! kinda cut them off.
