What is the Austin Community College Foundation?
The ACC Foundation was established in 1991 to support college initiatives through financial assistance. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt corporation. The Foundation solicits, receives, and administers gift from private sources to benefit scholarships and programs at the college. Fundraising efforts focus on student scholarships. Why does Austin Community College need private support? Private giving provides the “extras” that enable good colleges to transform into extraordinary ones. At ACC, this will give students the opportunity to complete or continue their education, enhance academic programs, and provide faculty with additional teaching tools. How can I make a gift? Individuals, corporations, and foundations may contribute cash through an annual gift or a pledge. Gifts include cash, appreciated securities, or personal property.
