What is the basic equipment we need to carry while trekking or hiking?
A good back-pack, loose clothing, comfortable footwear, enough packed meals, water bottle, sunglasses, cap/hat, a medical kit and a small survival kit. If staying overnight, a sleeping bag, changeover clothes, some basic cooking equipment will add to the comfort and convenience of the group. Never forget to take maps, torch lights and compass.
