The basic unit of structure and functional unit of living organisms is known as cell. Cells can be distinguished on the basis of their own structures and functions. On the basis of similarities between the cells, tissues are formed. Tissues are organized to form organs and organs form structures inside our body. Cells of different organisms also vary like plant cells and animal cells have various differences. Plant cells have cell wall and one large vacuole and animal cells have cell membrane as the outermost layer and have many small vacuoles. In addition, some organisms are singular cellular animals while some are multicellular organisms.
