What is the best company for subwoofers and amps for car stereos?
in my opinion i would go with alpine all around to me i think they sound the best not only for bass but they are crisp too again like another guy said it all depends on how much you wanna spend but on a budget like mine which isnt very much i still got 2 alpine s10 subs and a fosgate p2 punch and i tell you what my jeep hits at 170db thats damn close if not competition as for amps i would go for the fosgate power series they are affordable and give enormous power, also depends on what kind of box you are going to run downfire or sealed boxes hit the hardest in my opinion
JL is the affordable way to go for amps. You will pay about a dollar a watt, but the technology involved in the amps is awesome. As far as subs go, find out how much cubic airspace you have to work with and go from there. The W7 line is awesome though. Soundstream is another one of my favorites if you want some serious equipment. I have not seen any of their products in my area, but speaking from personal experience… they kick some serious competition style ass. Reference is the way to go with soundstream. The Amp…Reference 1000, Subs, (2) Reference 10″ Sealed box if in trunk, ported if in open scenario. You will shake the bolts out of the car next to you…
You should go with the directed line of amps and also their speakers they are in my opion one of the best if not the best on the market they will give you a better sound and if u are looking for pure bass then this will be the way to go i have tried everything on the market just get get a clear bass sound and let me tell u i got that and then some.
