Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until blended. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder; add to butter mixture alternately with milk, blending just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Sprinkle each layer with 1 tablespoon creme de cacao; cool completely. Ambrosia Pecan Pie This recipe is really wonderful at Christmas INGREDIENTS 3 eggs 3/4 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons brown sugar 3 tablespoons orange juice 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted 1 teaspoon grated orange peel 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans 2/3 cup flaked coconut 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell DIRECTIONS In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, corn syrup, sugars, orange juice, butter, orange peel and salt until well blended. Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. If edges become too brown, cover with foil. Cool on a wire rack.
