What is the best foods to eat during ivf treatment?
I am so sorry that your first cycle did not work out – IVF is so stressful! I do not know of any foods to eat . . . but my RE did tell me to take my prenatal vitamins, no medications outside of the IVF meds and tylenol, cut back on sugar, artificial sweeteners, soda, junk food etc – basically eat a well balanced healthy diet . . . and to be sure to drink lots of water. Beyond that, I met with a counselor who specialized in dealing with couples struggling with infertility, took a mind / body workshop for women going through fertility treatments – we worked on stress reducers like meditation, prenatal yoga, couples therapy etc . . . I also looked into acupuncture but it really was not for me. You might want to pick up Dr. Domar’s book Conquering Infertility. I think that I spent a lot of time working on myself – mentally, physically and spirtually. I think that this had a lot to do with our success. My IVF twins are now 4 months old.
