go to a letting agency that way you could even have the property fully managed which means at a cost they will do everything for you,finding tenants every 6 months or renewing contracts,taking deposits,arranging maintenance, evicting tenants,inventory etc etc etc,this will take the stress away from you and advertising will be paid for within the service so you will get an ad on the popular website rightmove and possibly in the local paper (which is very expensive when done alone) if you dont go fully manged it will cost you an approximately £400 one of payment to the agent to advertise and find tenants but if you go fully managed it should cost you a small percentage of your monthly rent eg £500 per month making agency fee £50 per month.you could go it alone but it will be more complicated and risky finding tenants.good luck PS i forgot to ad they will reference and credit check your potential tenants also.
