Ick! Whiskey flavoured jello shots? Look at the amount of water that the packet tells you to use. We will call it the packet amount of water (PAW). For this explanation, I’ll pretend that the jelly packet wants me to use 1 litre of boiling water to make the jelly. Measure out one quarter of the PAW, in boiling water, and stir it really well, so there is no powder left in the bowl (or container you are using to make the jelly). In my case I’d be using 250mls of boiling water. Put the jelly mix in the fridge, in the container for 15-20 minutes to let it cool off a little bit. DON’T LET IT SET! After the jelly has been in the fridge for a bit, take it out again and measure out one quarter of the PAW in your liquor of choice (erg… whiskey). I’d be adding 250ml of vodka to my shots (because I hate whiskey – it’s yukko!) Mix it up really well and then put it in the shot glasses, or whatever you want to use to make the jelly shots.
