What is the biggest difference between high school and college meets?
EB: It’s like night and day. High school, you’re trying to figure out just what the sport is. You’re still trying to figure out what the sport is in college. I guess it’s just another level of seriousness in college. This is where you get records. It’s definitely a platform. GH: What are you planning to study? EB: Business. It’s going good. GH: You already have a provisional NCAA qualifying mark. What would a strong showing be for you should you make NCAA’s? EB: Well I’m trying to get 20 meters this season. If I get 20 meters I’ll be really happy. GH: Through your sophomore year, you are already among Washington’s top throwers of all time. What does that mean to you? EB: When I’m working out or competing, I’m really focusing on doing the best I can do. I don’t really compare it to other athletes. I don’t think I’m worthy to compare it to other athletes. If I expect myself to do my best, then I’m happy with that. If I feel like I have, then I’m happy with that.
