What is the certification process for Visual Acuity Examiners?
If you are certified to perform ETDRS VA on patients for ANY multi center clinical trial in the past three years, you will be grand fathered in. Please use the same form as you downloaded for OCT and FA and submit it along with documentation of your certification or if there is no formal certification issued by the that study, any proof of your participation in clinical trials to cert@read2.net or fax it to 410-502-8958 ATT: READ2 CERTIFICATION. IMPORTANT: THE VA EXAMINER MUST BE MASKED TO THE TREATMENT ASSIGNMENT. IN OTHER WORDS, PERSON PERFORMING DATA ENTRY, RANDOMIZATION OR ASSISTING IN TREATMENT MUST NOT BE THE VA EXAMINER.
