What is the checkbox by “My Recipe” for?

When you enter your recipes, the checkbox called “My Recipe” will automatically be checked. This is to make it easier to sort between your recipes and th ones the we provide. You could also use it to differentiate between your recips and recipes of other people, if you so choose.
