What is the Configuration (CFG) file used for?
Configuration files (CFG) exist on both the Requester and Service hosts, and are established at the time the interface is established. Its values are static. All paradigms make use of CFG files. One configuration file is used by the request and response handler programs. A separate configuration file is used by the service receive and response programs. For requester nodes, there are four stanzas – one for each role: Requester, Service, Responder, and Response Handler. For service nodes, since there can be any number of requesters, only the Service and Responder stanzas are provided. These configuration files define the parameters for the specific interface and are accessed by the CommBridge functions.
