Black and red – not simple, but really cool Order the deck – on top – one black card, followed by 26 red cards, followed by the remaining 25 cards. 1. Place one black and one red face up. 2. Have a victim predict all the cards – they’ll say either black or red. Place each card FACE DOWN, so they won’t know they are wrong. 3. IMPORTANT – you need to count 24 cards silently as you are placing each card in each pile that the victim calls. Once you get to 24, switch piles. Tell the person, you are going to switch and place the last remaining red card face up in a pile below the black pile already called out, and the next card should be black.
