What is the cost for marriage couseling or is it covered under some insurance?
Most insurance’s do not cover the cost of marriage counseling. There are, however, other options. You can pay out of pocket from a local family counselor, typically though, that may be expensive. If you are in a certain income bracket, you may qualify for local social services. They often can refer you to counseling that services the public. Most popular though is marriage counseling from your religious affiliation. If you have one, many churches have classes or private marital counseling for their members. If you have no affiliation and desire one, find one that you and your spouse/significant other might like to join and visit them. If they are a good match, ask them if they have any marital counseling services.
