Water usage in this area is 179 gallons per capita per day (GPCPD) for Enoch city and 262 GPCPD for Cedar City. For the entire basin the average daily usage is approximately 245 GPCPD. These numbers are based on usage reported to Division of Water Rights. The usage numbers given are inclusive of all water being utilized by the city. This includes usage by institutions, industrial, commercial, parks, recreational, etc. Cedar City has significantly more of those types of usage and therefore utilizes more water. Enoch has less of those types of applications which mean that it utilizes less water for those even though home usage may be higher in some circumstances.
