SmartWorks uses flat files as its database. We support the conversion of SmartWorks database to XML standard. Having the database exported in XML would allow one to export the database to other relational databases, which offer importing XML data. We believe this would help the user in moving the database to an ODBC compliant database at any point of time when the user wants. We also support any database complying with the ODBC standards.
