.nmon Notes: • This has been very carefully chosen so that a directory of nmon files will sort in machine and then time order. So you can find the data file you want in a simple way. • Many people needlessly make up their own names via scripts and date commands – a pointless waste of time. • One side effect is that, if two nmon captures are started in the same minute they might use the same filename, so stagger the start up by 61 seconds.
