What is the difference between 16-BIT and 32 BIT version?
The 32-Bit version of PC Card. It is called CardBus and allows speeds up to 133 Mbps at 33MHz. Another 16-Bit version of PC Card. When we say PC Card, it means the 16-Bit PC Card. The speed of PC Card is slower than CardBus. As a comparison, 32-bit CardBus is able to take advantage of internal bus speeds that can be as much as 4~6 times faster than 16-bit PC Card. CardBus sockets are able to accept and supports all 16-Bit PC Card but 16-Bit PC Card sockets only accept 16-Bit PC Card.
