What is the difference between a Movena Glazing and a Glazing where a film was applied ?
Filmed glass is made of a piece of glass on which a PET film was applied thanks to acrylic glue. The film application is usually done by professionals and do not always requite the disassembly of the window. Nevertheless this process presents disadvantages. In fact, these films are usually very sensitive to scratches and cleaning products. On top of it they are never guaranteed by the producer. And the performance of such products is directly linked to the quality of the installation and depends on the professionalism and skillfulness of the installer. Finally, the law doesn’t consider a glass filmed on the aftermarket as legal and this type of film cannot, in any case, be applied on the windscreen of front windows.
