What is the difference between a pygmy and a dwarf goat?
Dwarf goats are bred to the same body proportions as larger dairy goats. Pygmy goats are not proportional, heavier boned and stockier. How much room do I need for my goats? Generally, a half acre per goat is considered sufficent, but this may vary with goat breed. For example, dwarf goats would need less room than their larger cousins.
