What is the difference between dropping and auditing a course?
If you drop a class, then you are ineligible for further attendance in that class. If you officially change your status to audit online or through Enrollment Services, then you may remain in the class, but will not receive a letter grade or credit. Audited courses do not count toward graduation or toward fulfilling financial aid obligations.
