In cooking Clams and mussels are generally cooked, and often served in a broth although many other methods such as frying, boiling, stewing and even eating raw are used. Oysters are more commonly eaten raw, but as well are delicous cooked a number of different ways. The major variance among oysters and mussels is size with a little in the shape.
