What is the difference between the “AudioPhile” editions of Band-in-a-Box, and the regular Band-in-a-Box packages?

The AudioPhile editions have everything that the “regular” versions of Band-in-a-Box and RealBand have, PLUS they have all of the original never-compressed RealTracks audio files. We normally ship RealTracks audio files as compressed WMA files (usually 128 or 160 kbps) instead of WAVE files. The WMA files are excellent quality, and make the program MUCH smaller. With a typical setup at home, many people would not be able to hear a difference, but some advanced users prefer to have the original wave files. The regular editions ship on 2.5″ portable USB hard drives powered by the USB port, while the AudioPhile editions are shipped on 3.5″ hard drives that use an external power source. Note that it is possible to uncompress the ‘regular edition’ WMA files to WAV, however these will not be the same as the original wave files, having already been compressed once. Also, note that the ‘AudioPhile editions’ do include the WMA files as well, which gives you the option of installing the program
