Both the DA4000MR and DA4000SBR are dual band 3 watt variable gain RF amplifiers. They are both FCC approved to be used with all carriers in the USA and Canada. The DA4000MR is a 38dB gain amplifier/repeater and, with an internal omni-directional antenna (included in HD22468 and HD22469), covers up to 1,000 square feet*. The DA4000SBR is a 60dB gain amplifier/repeater and, with an internal omni-directional antenna (included in HD22470), covers up to 5,000 square feet†. The DA4000MR and the DA4000SBR are wireless amplifier/repeaters that are used with an inside antenna that re-broadcasts the signal to your cell phone. The DA4000MR requires a minimum separation distance of 5′, or more, (up to 20′) and a wall/roof/bulkhead structure between inside and outside antennas. The DA4000SBR requires the two antennas to be located a minimum of 40′ apart and separated by an exterior wall.
