What is the difference between the Harmony CDD and the Harmony ROA?
The basic difference between the two is the CDD is a public entity, responsible for the common areas, and the ROA is a private entity, responsible for all private areas of the community. Harmony Residential Owners Association, Inc. (HROA) • All Harmony unit owners are members of the HROA • The primary role of the HROA is to ensure compliance of the rules, restrictions and community wide standards as outlined in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. • Annual assessments fund the required administrative operations as outlined in the annual HROA budget. • The HROA is administered by a Board of Directors (elected by majority unit owners) which meet quarterly to conduct general HROA business. • The HROA holds an annual unit owners meeting which includes election of the Board of Directors, annual assessment and budget review, and unit owners open discussion of general topics pertaining to the Residential Owners Association.
