What is the difference between the House of Thoth and the Astrum Sophia?
The Astrum Sophia is the name of the magical Order to which we belong. Within the Order there are several structures to oversee the work of the Order and provide personal contact with the members. The term “House” refers specifically to the initiatory structure and function of an Astrum Sophia group. When you apply to the Astrum Sophia for membership, you will always be directed to a House, which is the body which confers initiation, provides mentorship, etc. The House of Thoth is thus the body that people in the UK and Ireland will normally work with when they pursue study within the Astrum Sophia.
