The Indiana Code organizes by subject matter the hundreds of laws passed by the Indiana General Assembly. By contrast, the Indiana Administrative Code organizes the regulations developed by the various Indiana state agency administrators who are responsible for implementing—administrating—the specific provisions of laws enacted by the State Legislature.
