What is the difference between the Internship and Externship Program?
The main difference between externs and interns is the number of hours spent in the office. Externs are our part-time interns that, because of work or school, cannot commit to working with us full time during the three-month program. Both programs offer the certified member training track of the World Youth Alliance. Both interns and externs will be taken on exposure trips and invited to join private discussions with experts in the field of development. Projects and reports are assigned to both externs and interns. Although the number of work hours is less for externs, the amount of work is relatively the same.
