What is the difference between the Maths scale and the College scale for exam marks?
Your degree and any decisions we make about you are on the Maths scale whereas the College scale marks which you get on your transcript are only to tell you how you have done on each course. NEVER ADD YOUR COLLEGE SCALE MARKS UP – THE RESULT CAN BE MISLEADING! Note that the classes (First, 2:1 etc.) for each individual course mean exactly the same on both scales.
