What is the difference between the Spanish and Portuguese Trainee Programme and the Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) Programme?

The main difference is that both the Spanish and Portuguese trainee programmes are offered by, and paid for, by the Spanish and Portuguese governments with ESA playing the role as host. The YGT programme is open to nationals of all of ESA Member States and the trainees are paid by ESA. For more information look at the Young Graduate Trainees and the Spanish and Portuguese Trainees.
