What is the difference between Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki®?
A. Karuna Reiki® does not replace Usui Reiki, but serves as an additional level of training. It is only taught to Reiki masters because it requires the body to be accustomed to hold a greater amount of chi/ki. This happens naturally as one steps through the various levels of Usui-based Reiki training, purifying the physical and energy bodies.
