What is the difference between “Withdraw” and “Return”?
The “Withdraw” button is located on the eGC1 (Certify-Finalize-Print page) and allows the eGC1 to be pulled out of the routing process. The “Return” button is located above the approval graph and allows reviewers on campus to push the eGC1 back to the PI and Department for editing; it leaves the routing process. To find applications in these statuses, click the filter checkbox for “Withdrawn” or “Returned”. Additionally, you can use the “Search Approvals” functionality to locate applications.
