What is the difference in durability between the Sony MDW80CL and the MDW80PL?
The MDW80PL is a bit more durable with a 20% thicker shock-absorbing shell and frame, which results in fewer data errors and better sound. Both discs come with the standard jewel case, but the MDW80CL has an extra plastic shell casing that can hold 5 or 8 discs. Here is a link to our MiniDisc section.
